Director
Robin
Young has worked as a physical therapist since 1996. She received
her certification as a wound care specialist in 1999. Robin actively
works to educate the community about foot care for people with diabetes,
wound care and burn maintenance.
During
her time as a therapist, Robin has developed patient education material
on Diabetic Foot Care and Maintenance and has provided CEU courses
on wound care and diabetes. She has also provided lectures on wound
care for the Texas Physical Therapy Association (TPTA) and Del Mar
College PTA program.
Robin
is a member of several professional organizations, including the
TPTA, American Physical Therapy Association, American Academy of
Wound Management and the Association for the Advancement of Wound
Care.
