Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi - Memorial offers comprehensive outpatient
services with a multidisciplinary approach to care. Our staff members
are focused on hands-on quality therapy aimed at improving our clients'
quality of life.
Our outpatient services include:
- Treatment
for neurological diagnoses such as stroke and post-craniotomies.
- Comprehensive
speech therapy services, including on-site outpatient modified
barium swallow studies.
- Outpatient
wound and burn.
- Burn
garments to help control swelling, reduce scarring and allow for
improved movement.

Prosthesis training.

Hand therapy and splint fabrication.
- Treatment
of orthopedic, sports medicine and work-related injuries.
- Treatment
of the neck, back, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and
ankles.
Our
therapists have a unique opportunity to participate in a weekly
orthopedic clinic with our orthopedic doctors, reviewing radiological
studies, patient progress, and making recommendations for next step
options in the care of the client. This allows for professional
growth as well as a solid working relationship with our physicians.
