Inpatient
services
Our
inpatient staff provides services to all units within the facility,
in particular our trauma ICU, burn unit and orthopedic unit. The
majority of our caseload includes clients who have suffered traumatic
injury. This includes those with multiple broken bones, spine injuries,
head or brain injuries, burns, amputations and wounds. We also provide
a significant amount of therapy and wound care to people suffering
from diabetic related conditions.
Our
department works closely with the medical staff by participating
in weekly multidisciplinary, orthopedic and trauma rounds to discuss
client progress and discharge planning for our inpatient clients.
