Centrally
located in the Corpus Christi bay area, CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital
Corpus Christi—Memorial is the tertiary referral
center as the lead level III trauma facility for 12 counties in
the Coastal Bend.
Our
client populations include multi-trauma, neurological, orthopedic,
burn, surgical and cardiac diagnoses. Diagnostic, obstetrical and
ophthalmological services are available.
We
offer a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including:
- Physical
therapy.
- Occupational
therapy.
- Speech
therapy.
- Wound
and burn care, with a certified wound care specialist on staff.
Many
of our rehabilitation associates are bilingual and able to accommodate
the Spanish-speaking population. We also provide community education
through involvement with the Diabetes Education Center and various
health fairs in the city.
The
wide variety of conditions we treat makes CHRISTUS Spohn Rehabilitation Services at Memorial a unique and exciting place
for our staff to work, and a great place for clients to receive
the best possible treatment for an injury.
Memorial
is also proud to provide care to the underserved in our community
by offering many clinical and medical services to people without
funding. Also, as the only teaching facility in the system, we have
an environment conducive to learning.
